A series of pictures captured on Kodak Vision 250D (expired) in April 2022 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Location - mostly Khreshchatyk street, Independence square (Maydan Nezalezhnosti) and locations nearby.

It was a time, when people started to come back to the city after terrible events of February 24-th. There are were deserted half-empty streets - almost no people, no usual car traffic in capital of Ukraine.

But a lot of barricades and fortifications at the streets as a reminders that city was going to fight against Russian invasion.

There is a kind of  contrasts - sunny spring weather, walking people, barricades, emotional stress, anxiety and feelings of war that came for years….
