Reasons for warnings
Warnings can be issued for the following reasons:
- Spam or spammed advertisements — Repeated posting of unsolicited promotional content or links.
- Fake account, name, pretending to be someone — Using fake identities, impersonating others, or creating misleading profiles.
- Hate speech, political, ethnicity, religious, sex or gender harassment — Any form of discrimination, hate expression, or targeted attacks.
- Inappropriate or explicit content — Posting content with nudity, violence, or shocking/offensive visuals.
- Offensive or abusive language — Using insults, threats, or degrading language toward others.
- Trolling, provocation or disruptive behavior — Deliberate attempts to provoke users, derail discussions, or create conflict.
- Posting irrelevant or low-quality content — Sharing meaningless, off-topic, or very low-quality materials just for activity.
- Violation of platform rules or terms of use — Breaking any clearly outlined site rules or terms of service.
- Plagiarism or use of stolen content — Publishing someone else’s work or photos without proper credit or rights.
- Other — Any other type of violation not covered above. In such cases, a moderator must provide a description of the issue.
Where warnings apply
Warnings may be issued in the following areas of user activity:
- Comments
- Forum posts
- Published entries such as stories, blog posts, or articles
- Systematic behavior — a warning may also be issued even if no single content item is to blame, but repeated behavior violates our rules or community standards
Warning visibility
- Warnings are visible in the user’s profile both to the warned user and to other users
- If a warning was given in error, it can be appealed by writing directly to the moderator or user who issued it. If the appeal is justified, the warning will be removed
- Warnings can also be moved to archive — in that case, they are only visible to moderators but hidden from the public and the warned user
Reporting content
- Any registered user can report content they find inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of platform rules
- If a piece of content has already been reported, you will see a notice about that.We kindly ask users not to submit duplicate reports unless there is a clear reason to do so
