How to use invites

Every registered user on Photo.travel has the ability to invite two new users to join the platform. To find your personal invite code, go to Profile → Settings → My invite code.

Simply copy the code and share it with the person you’d like to invite. When they register using your invite code, not only will they be able to join Photo.travel, but they’ll automatically be added to your friends list and become your first-level affiliate.

What are affiliates?

At Photo.travel, we’re building a growing community through a user tree system. Every time you invite someone, they become part of your affiliate network. Once you sign up to Photo.travel, you are automatically part of our Affiliate Program.

You earn a lifetime commission whenever your invited users top up their balance on Photo.travel. The commission is credited to your account instantly — you can use it on the platform, transfer it to another user, or withdraw it.

Here’s how the affiliate levels work:

• 1st-level affiliate: A user you directly invited.You earn 1.25% lifetime commission from every top-up they make.
• 2nd-level affiliate: A user invited by your 1st-level affiliate.You earn 0.5% lifetime commission from every top-up they make.
• 3rd-level affiliate: A user invited by your 2nd-level affiliate.You earn 0.25% lifetime commission from every top-up they make.

This tiered system encourages users to invite not just anyone, but active travel photographers and community members who are likely to contribute and grow the network.

The more engaged your invitees are, the more you benefit. Your affiliate tree grows naturally as invited users start inviting others, building a long-term passive reward stream for you.

How to regenerate an invite

If you made a mistake or changed your mind — tick the “Generate a new invite code” checkbox in your profile settings and save setting. A new code will be generated, and the old one deactivated.

What to do when invites run out

Every registered user on Photo.travel receives a limited number of invite codes. If you’ve already used all of them — there are two possible options:

1. Become a Contributor. Once you’ve successfully published 20 stories, you’ll automatically move into the Contributor group. Contributors receive more invite codes and gain the ability to publish new stories without moderation delays. If you’re active on the platform, this is the fastest way to unlock additional invites.
2. Wait for more invites. As Photo.travel grows, we periodically increase the number of invites available to each user. If you’re not a Contributor yet, just check back later — new invite codes may be added to your profile over time.
