Andrew Zheludkov:

Andrew Zheludkov: The image is a famous double exposure portrait of the painter Alexander Shevchenko, created in 1924 by the Russian avant-garde artist and photographer Aleksandr Rodchenko.

Andrew Zheludkov:

Andrew Zheludkov:

Andrew Zheludkov:

Andrew Zheludkov:

Andrew Zheludkov:

Andrew Zheludkov:

Andrew Zheludkov: Yes the same as in other popular European cities. Just be the hardest target and they’ll choose someone else. Apparently they also steal stuff off cafe tables, sometimes using tricks like placing a big map over your phone and asking for directions. Other ...

Andrew Zheludkov: Yes it is unfortunately.

Andrew Zheludkov: I have stayed many times in Haarlem and am going there again next week. It is a beautiful Town and an extremely easy train journey into Amsterdam. Haarlem itself has so much to do and many lovely places to visit. I totally recommend it as an excellent cho...

Andrew Zheludkov: The closest city is Haarlem and it´s very easy to reach Amsterdam Centraal. From there you can visit all sightseeing places either by foot or by tram. You can also leave the train at Sloterdijk and take the tram 19 to Leidseplein, Rijksmuseum , museum qua...

Andrew Zheludkov: Google Maps will show you transit options to anywhere you’ll need to go. Give it a try. In addition to Google Maps, try this app. To me it's easier to use than Google Maps. https://9292.nl/en/

Andrew Zheludkov: Hi there, Opions vary. Ours, and that of the few foreign guests with whom we had time to do both, is Kinderdijk. More authentic, with when looking around a 270' 'historic' view and only in 90' of the view an ugly factory/wharf. With ZS the authentic part ...

Andrew Zheludkov: You could buy a Travel Pass Nordland which allows you unlimited travel for 7 days by bus and express boat. You can travel around Lofoten and as far south as Brønnøysund and Namsos. The Helgeland coast and its islands is very scenic, but you need to do som...

Andrew Zheludkov: I guess you can travel in Lofoten by bus, but it requires some planning. Buses not that frequent because of small villages/towns. Svolvær is largest with approximately 8000 (?)Some interesting places may have bus stop some distance away and buses even les...

Andrew Zheludkov: It's been a mixed bag. We had a week of highs of 13, cold wind and rain, but it's been sunnier recently and quite warm out. Definitely bring a jacket but do check back closer to date to confirm.

Andrew Zheludkov: Overnight car ferry between Aeolian Islands and Naples: https://static.carontetourist.it/sites/default/files/timetable/attachments/orari-eolie-11-2025c.pdf NOTE: there will be new schedules in April and May. Daylight hydrofoils between Milazzo and Aeolian...

Andrew Zheludkov: A nice option is to take the ferry from Milazzo to Lipari for those three nights. It’s easy to reach from Palermo by bus or train, the islands are peaceful, and getting back to Milazzo for the train to Naples is easy. In general visiting the Aeolian islan...

Andrew Zheludkov: Either itinerary looks enjoyable to me. Albania around Theth and Valbona is amazing but you have to work out the logistics of how to get up there, take your one way hike, and then get back to your starting point. Or to wherever you're going next. You coul...
